Last night I finally had a chance to watch last year’s Les Miserable movie. I loved it.Of course, I had to watch most of it by myself. The kids don’t really care to watch musicals to begin with, and hubby left about half-way through.
I liked it, though. I especially like some of the music. I really like the song Do You Hear the People Sing. It is always amazing how music can convey so much feeling.
Watching the movie reminded me of Susan Boyle‘s performance.
Somehow I am now motivated to read Victor Hugo’s novel Les Miserable. Hopefully, I’ll be able to read it over the summer.
